I obtained this fort wagon from my industrial age politician, but cant build with it since another fort already exists.

Here’s the steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. Build a fort as Malta
  2. Age up to Industrial with the politician that gives the fort wagon

To be able to build two forts.

Yeah I noticed this too, I built a fort in the fortress age with explorer then aged up with a fort and was stuck with the fort wagon.

Fort wagon obtained from any civs’ age up do not increase fort build limit.

I think you can use the age up fort wagon to build a fort. So it must increase the limit, right?

This is intended behavior as Snowisch mentioned. For all civs, if they get a TC or Fort wagon, the build limit does not increase.

So for European civs fort build limit is 2? Then you get one more if you send castramentation?

And for Malta the build limit is 1?

There is a card in age 2 that increases fort build limit, so malta has the same number
