Ideas for the Tangut unique units:
Iron Sparrowhawk: an infantry unit, with a giant bird hat like the eagle warrior.
Xi Xia chariot: an axe-throwing soldier on a chariot.
Also make a Wukong campaign because it’s popular.

What is the progress with this mod? Is it featuring new units or reused graphics?
- We’re getting things back together after the patch broke it.
- The Bai have almost completely been implemented.
- Reworks for the other civs are ongoing, including new units for them.
- The Chinese and Tibetan campaigns are complete, but need some touch-ups with the new assets. The Khitan campaign has just 2 levels left to do. All the other campaigns have been planned out.
Reused. New graphics take an extremely long time to do for anyone not familiar with the systems, which we are not.
Thankfully the new patch and DLC gave us everything we need and then some to do everything we want.

So far, no. The Sino-sphere is the main priority. Hell, we have to get everything we have planned finished first before adding more haha.

As one civ crafter to you guys and this awesome massive project… how did you guys get a team going?
But seriously, the way this started was I found a modder hoping to make something, but had no purpose. And well…
So together we talked and came up with the idea of doing this. From there we created a discord, and then started gathering more people who were interested.

Although I don’t always agree with every design or detail in the mod based on my knowledge of East Asian history, I have to say your teams’ enthusiasm and efforts deserve unconditional praise!! At a time when the official made such controversial decisions, your presence and work are so meaningful, proving to them that the power of the community is amazing and people’s opinions really matter.

Absolutely agree. Not jazzed about the bai generating gold while farming bonus but I’ll take that any day of the week over khitanguts and xianwei.
This mod is shaping up to be awesome, a high effort enterprise, and exactly what we’ve wanted and we’re promised.

While some of the designs might seem a bit tame, this is a result of trying to marry designs which are thematic, and also workable.
Not to mention people usually tend to complain about more “out there” fan designs, so we kept things a bit on the safer side. Focusing instead on a more cohesive overall picture.
