The Mod Browser and the place where to enable/disable mods are still quite buggy. They are very obvious, but maybe devs are still not aware, so we collect them here.
When uploading mods:
- Description window is much too tiny. This bug was already fixed in Mythic UI Mod (maybe download it and get all the bugfixes? :D)
- A few mods can not be uploaded, always failing with “internal error, try again later” message( can look up the exact error message if needed). For me it is the case when my mod contains an abilities folder for whatever reason, even an empty one
When enabling/disabling mods:
3) Every time you enable/disable a mod, the view scrolls back to the top of the list, making it very tedious to enable/disable many mods.
4) When clicking “View” on this window for a mod, it shows wrong data, eg. the Installs shown there is always 0, while it is correct if a mod is viewed in the lobby browser instead.
5) The detection for local+uploaded mods is not always good, sometimes it shows a few of my mods two times, instead of just one time like intended (not all and not always)
Mods Browser:
6) The search is not optimal yet. It is good that it can find authors and also searches the description. But it fails eg. to search for “COOP” “CO-OP” and similar terms, often used for maps
Improvement suggestions:
- Add a “enable/disable all” mods button.
- Introduce versioning for mods. (Should be self explanatory, there are so many reasons why this is better for everyone)
