Some of these are discussed before, but to the best of my knowledge, none is implemented yet:
- Selecting all wall foundations by double-click should not select all walls. One will usually want to delete only the foundations (and in fact often only the unstarted ones).
- For production buildings, arguments can be made either way. On one hand, selecting all – locally by double-click, or globally by hotkey – can be useful for assigning control groups, but on the other hand, foundations cannot produce anything, nor can they have gathering points assigned. Note that the select all hotkey for TCs works differently from the one for other production buildings. Namely, TC foundations are not selected, whereas e.g. Barracks foundations are. The inconsistency bothers me.
- The range of double-click selection should match the viewport exactly. Now it often selects things just outside the view too. Again, this is especially bad for walls.
- Gate foundations placed on unstarted wall foundations should refund the walls.
- Gate foundations placed on walls (or started foundations) should not delete the old walls before building has started.
- There should be a “select all gates” hotkey.
- Lock and unlock should be on different buttons (and corresponding hotkeys). (Likewise with pack/unpack for trebuchets and melee/ranged for rathas.)
- There should be some hotkey to select – or even just delete – all unstarted foundations, so that resources can easily be freed.
- Placing foundations on enemy units should be allowed. They are only plans, after all. In fog of war, foundations can be placed freely, even over enemy buildings.
- Farm foundations should not be snipable, but work like other buildings. (On the other hand, villager farm stealing should be made to work more reliably. And maybe instant deletion of built farms should be disabled.)
