We are 3 Player all in Gold.
No one of us was ever better then Platinum but if we play ranked we get Diamant or Conquerer Enemies.
Why?
The way matchmaking works is nonsense.
It will widen the elo window for the player searching for each minute, meaning that if your elo is 1000, and a player has near 1500 elo, he can be matched against you when he’s already waiting for 5 minutes.
And it will.
I’m in diamond and I’m constantly paired against high conqueror players.
Everyone skips these matches (for obvious reasons) and they got near 10-15 minutes queues, so they end up playing against people who is a lot lower elo.
