Matchmaking leavers need extra penalty

This was my solution from a previous topic. It’s almost as good as infinite bans and also kind of addresses the issue of single map players. Perhaps we could also have three ELO ratings for each category which are averaged out into a total overall ELO. I think this or some variation of this would massively reduce the quitting problem.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: A better and even simpler solution is to split all maps into 3 categories: Open Land Maps, Closed Land Maps and Hybrid / Water / Other maps. Then you just select as many (or as few) map types you want to play. Way simpler because you wouldn’t ever need to change your map type choice, because the map categories would always stay the same but you’d still get map diversity because the pool of maps within each category would change with each map rotation. They could also add more maps in each rotation, say 4 maps in each of the 3 categories for a total of 12 maps. Or even up to 6 maps in each for a total of 18. Having only 3 possible choices should make matchmaking much easier too, because unlike infinite map bans, the single-map Arabia only grinders & Arena clowns etc. will be forced to play all the maps in their category.
