After the update when I come to load my saved Campaign it starts to load about 20% then audio stutters and CTD. OS event log entry:

Prior to this update I was running AOE IV without issue, over 50 hrs game play.

AMD 5950X latest EFI
64GB RAM
nVidia 3090 (drivers 536.40)

Similar, but instead of the error shown in original post, for me, the game just dies.
7950x3d, RTX 4090, 16GB. Couldnāt join the match as somebody was either dodging or failing to connect and after 5th attempt the game crashed with Out of Memory. Now I have to wait 5 minutes for cooldown to queue again. Nice work, team.
Same here, Windows 11 Intel 13400 integrated graphics. It crashes right after the game intro
