I’m aware that this meme was already posted in this thread a few years ago by someone else, but considering I’m the one who created it, I think that gives me the right to post it again.
Am I the only one who says that before deleting villagers?
Me whenever I see a civ’s winrate drop below 51 percent:
The Romans in AoE1 have three full campaigns where they’re playable, plus another playable appearance in the Enemies of Rome campaign, on top of the new Trajan campaign in Return of Rome. I think they have everyone beat.
Ironically, the AoE2 Romans aren’t playable in ANY scenarios…
Yes, in AoE 1 and AoE 2 RoR the Romans have two expansions focused on them where they are playable, but they still do not have a campaign in the base AoE 2, being the only civ without having a campaign in the game…
You mean only civi without any sp playable content campaign and historical battle.
Of course, scenario in general, where the civ is playable by the player…
When they announced Return of Rome I said ‘great, we’ll have a Western Roman campaign!’ Then, they said that there wasn’t going to be a Western Roman campaign in AoE2 so I thought ‘at least, I can play the ported OG campaigns’.
At least we have Eastern Roman scenarios in V&V and can role play as Western Romans (or Celts, pick your poison) in Vortigern
