Anyways this is the 3d rendered game I been playing alot, you can seee, AGE 4 IS MUCH MUCH MUCH MUCH MUCH BETTER!!! in graphics. But i just love 3d pikes with REACH/RANGE, not this step right up face to face attacking like in age 2

Ripped the full image from the video page, can anyone recognize the architecture? It’s obviously middle-eastern/western-asian but I don’t know enough to tell what nation it’s from.

I think you might be right with Persians.
Also zoomed in on their archers on the walls and they seem pretty persian too.

It looks like they have significantly reduced the saturation in these preview pics. The colours look less vivid or intense compared to the X019 trailer.
Also, are you sure that those are Persians? I’m not an expert but this doesn’t look like Sasanian architecture at all as there are some clear islamic elements. It could be Indo-Islamic tho.
Unless they present Persians under some Islamic dynasty like the Saffarid?
I don’t know… I prefer Persians over Indians but can’t see it. If you can see something that strongly indicates Persians please let us know.

Sassanids were eliminated almost at the beginning of the game’s time period, so perhaps “Persians” would be treated as a mixture of Sassanids and Islamic Persia as in AOE2.

This may sound dumb and i think im have Mandela effect. When the preview first came out i remember nearly the whole unit in color and way brighter which throw everything off for me. Looking at your pic i kinda like it now. Yep definitely odd.
they said you can lower the saturation which is seem they did it with this photo

Preview thumbnails look cinematic, hope this is similar to real gameplay graphics. Looks very good.
But they should improve sand & grass, leastways here it looks blurry at first sight.
Looks like a realistic AoE:O but I kinda like it though.
Okay, correction: Disappointed from new shown graphics. Buildings are okay, but the animations, especially from arrows are weird. And it looks too cartoony
