Micro-stutter when opening Skirmish mode

I reported this issue back during the Open Beta in July, and since all previous Open Beta topics are now private, I’m opening another ticket for visibility, as the issue still occurs on the live version.

Opening Skirmish from the main menu causes a visible micro-stutter lasting approximately one second.

The issue occurs every time Skirmish mode is accessed from the main menu. Other game modes transition instantly and smoothly, without any noticeable visual freeze or delay.

While the stutter is brief, it becomes frustrating when entering Skirmish mode multiple times.

Here’s the steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. Launch the game and remain in the main menu.

  2. Select Skirmish.

  3. Observe the approximately one-second micro-stutter during the transition.

  4. Return to the main menu and open Skirmish again.

  5. Observe that the micro-stutter occurs every time.

Opening Skirmish mode should transition smoothly and instantly, like the other game modes.
