I have yhe same issue and honestly I would prefer a fix or a reply from the devs on how to fix it or how long till it is fixed instead of just ask for the money back. The fixes most people indicate with repairs and stuff is for windows version as the OP I have the issue with the xbox series x version.

I had the same issue but my fix was slightly different to yours (tried yours and also the methods on official website with no succes)

The fix for me was:

  1. uninstall the DLC(s), JUST DLC
  2. launch game and wait till fully loaded
  3. install DLC via XboxApp (PC app) whilst the game is still running in the background

That’s it, the DLC was then recognised in game

EDIT: this is a temporary fix and must be done every time you open the game

EDIT: No, it doesn’t. This only works for the running session. If you close AoM and relaunch, the DLC will not work again. A temporary workaround, not a permanent fix.

I can confirm. This has worked for me too!

I didn’t actually reinstall the individual DLC though. After uninstalling the DLC, I went to the Premium Edition Upgrade, and the Pre-Install button had reappeared. Hitting this finally installed the Upgrade instead of the individual DLC and that did the trick.

I had started the Standard Edition after uninstalling the DLC, as you recommended. Not sure if necessary or not, but it defo works.

Yes, I had already opened a ticket and the response was that it will work but has to be done every time you open the game.

seeing as it only takes a second to download the 10MB file its still a viable workaround until a true fix.

Thanks for the vid, but like I said, that did not work for me. The only way I could get them to unlock was via the method I posted.

After 4GB update from yesterday, due to my slow network and almost midnight at my place, I try the game today and the DLCs are unlocked in-game.
KB page are not updated but it’s worth trying now.
