My bad I think I was confused on something. So I think you dont want to compress your main folder. (instanttraininggerman) but instead compress the data folder inside it. For example the mod I was testing is called sanity test.
I compressed the data files in it
The png is the thumbnail I used for the mod.
Then I uploaded the whole uncompressed folder of sanity test and it seemed to work.
I had not tried uploading a mod before so sorry it was taking a while to respond. I was testing things.
So in your case just compress the data file and then upload the instanttraininggerman folder.
basically I don’t have to zip the whole folder but only the data folder where the techtreemod.xml file is inside, right?
