Request: Ability to rename AI Teams you’re going against.
Reason: When you play 1 v 1 or 2 v 2 or whatever amount you do, free-for-all… All the team names when they get eliminated say, “A.I. Intermediate has been eliminated” or “A.I. Hard has been eliminated” whatever difficulty you’re playing against. Imagine playing 8 Intermediate teams and that’s all you see scrolling down the side.
The ability to rename them like Mongols or Mongols Team 1 or Team 2 or Abbasid instead would be better. “The Mongols have been eliminated,” “Mongols Team 1 has been eliminated.”

Aditional interesting stuff for the game:
1- Cant shoot if you cant see it, or if the projectile goes through some complete building (Sprigals, Archers, etc corrently shoot units and buildings through and behind walls/buildings)

2- Buildings act as walls + possible to wall to them (not possible to squeeze in between houses, for exemple)

3- Hitbox + balistic tech mechanic (All ranged units, without the balistic tech, barely miss the target if its mooving, but still hit something that comes by. Even with balistics, ranged units barely miss if the target moves in a different direction, fast enough to avoind its own hitbox, after the projectile was fired)
Change behavior of battering rams according to number of garrisoned units so that:
They would be weaker in the base (lower damage and slower), but there would be functional increase (e. g. like building construction). So fully garrison would be even more stronger than in base. Health would remain same.
Empty same, just little increase speed and damage.

Reason:
More fun with micro (un)garrison skilling up. Plus little balance when battering rams could be too strong in early game and weak in late.
(I do not suggest to add to much RPG elements, just little “big battle” boosting like Khan do. I mean in the way that is specific for certain civ. In case of Khan sometimes I love him, sometimes I hate. E.g. I do not see him as very good scout unit. Generally I would add this “chief unit” since Feudal age. It would be also interesting to increase nobility title with every ageing up. Below are my suggestions. You can also image some skills they could have due their titles/names.
feudal → castel → imperial
Mongols: Chief → Khan → Khan of Khan
French: Duke → King → Imperial King
English: Princess → Queen → Imperial Queen
HRE: High prelate → Bishop → Archbishop
Rus: Boyar → Grand Duke → Tsar
Delhi sultanate: High scholar → Master philosopher → Grandmaster philosopher
Abbasid Dynasty: Prince → Sultan → Imperial Sultan (It’s confusing with Delhi…I know, from historical perspective I would change it, but this is how is game already set up)
China: Gōng → Wáng → Emperor

Yes, pity… I have already appreciated the general idea of this thread. It could be really long term statistic database for potencial game changes and upgrades suggestions. However to be honest it was killed a lot by yourself. A lot about map changes could be in one post. Especially weather changes, roads, etc. Generaly simplier and shorter suggestions. Plus why mixing games suggestions? (Mainly SC, tha anohter AoE franchizes.) Plus a lot of stupid direct answers on some suggestion. Just pity. Rulles in this thread should be more strict in the beginning. Just again pitty. Better to start new thread than politely join someone’s else’s: It means It’s pitty for Forum itslef. PITY
Ah see this thread now, just after I made my own on this idea.
In short: units should have the option to walk at their base speed, even when clustered when other units. Current (unchangable) default is to move at the speed of the slowest unit. This functionallity is an toggle option in many RTS games so the player can chose if this should be the case or not.
Frankly I find it a quality of life functie of which I can’t argue why it should not be there. I hope this is a shared feeling and function we can see in the future.
So far you are not alone in your vote, nor alone in your vote for yes! Although someone voted against I’m curious to that motivation. I can’t think of any.
In the meanwhile I had another idea:
Add a pause functionality into multiplayer. A player or team can use specific amount of pauses. Although anyone can resume the game, this may allow for friends and tournaments to pause when needed. I.e. Grubby has been attacked by stink bugs on numerous occasions, I’ve had to open the door every once in a while and some people get flanked by their pet.
Add RANDOM as an option when picking civ in the lobby.

Present the faction for the person who selected random moments before the start of the game (so he can execute correct build order without need for orientation in the first seconds)
Have RANDOM players, but only themselves, shown their ACTUAL FACTION during the loading screen.
