:play_button: ISSUE EXPERIENCED

Mods are no longer auto-updating when launching the game. Previously, the game would check for mod updates on startup and automatically download the latest versions. After the latest patch, this behavior no longer occurs.

Users must now manually go into the Mods section and check/update each mod individually. This is causing version mismatches especially for multiplayer sessions using data mods.

Here’s the steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. Install or subscribe to a mod (any mod with a known updated version).

  2. Launch the game.

  3. Do not manually check the Mods menu.

  4. Attempt to host or join a lobby using that mod.

  5. Observe that the mod has not auto-updated and may cause version mismatch

  6. Go to the Mods menu and manually update it, confirming the auto-update did not occur on launch.

The game should automatically check for and download the latest versions of installed mods when launching, ensuring all players have matching versions without manual intervention.
