Monks on Xbox tips

I would like to try to use more monks on the xbox, but when I make a group of them it seems like it takes forever to convert. I see people talking about micromanaging them. Has anybody had success with a controller doing this? If so, any tips is greatly appreciated.

First off what civ are u useing

Spanish has fast conversion vs mongols about slowest.

Pluss group of monks might be bad if you didn’t research or civ doesn’t have theocracy.

Then all your monks be wasting all mana on one unit.

So using control groups vs microing individuals depends on that ability.

Then teutons have natural resistance against conversion.

I play mongols and I never use control groups on my monks because they don’t have theocracy tech.
