I was wondering if anyone had any similar experiences with this. There seems to be a major issue with the click and drag. When I am playing if I click and drag the mouse over my units the drag box will disappear. Causing nothing to happen. It seems to happen when the cursor is around the middle to upper middle regions of my screen. This will happen repeatedly no matter what I do. It has really hampered my ability to play and caused me to lose so many matches. I have tried other games that have a click and drag option and none of them have the same issue. It is solely AoE4 that has this issue. Any help would be much appreciated because until this bug is fixed I wont play this game anymore. It makes it horribly unplayable.
I have not experienced anything like this, playing 4000h+ . Try replacing the mouse. I had similar problem with a mouse where it ignored every 1/10 or so right clicks, it was a button wear out problem. the problem was highlighted only in AOE4 because I used right click a lot in the game. This could be similar in your case dragging failure is noticed playing AOE4 but it could be still a hardware problem.
