Issue: Mouse does not seem to be raw inputs. Mouse input sometimes lag really hard, sometimes it also reads 2 button clicks when it was just one. And mainly at start of each play session the mouse position on the screen goes like 5 FPS for some reason.
Another issue is the alt key sometimes being toggled pressed when switching between multiple units/control groups, forcing me to press it again to untoggle it.
Trigger Event: I don’t know exactly what causes it to happen, I’ve played all my games as Zeus, on performance settings. Played in Campaign and in multiplayer and the problem occurs in both.
Repro Steps:
The steps are very simple just boot the game on Series S, play it with mouse and keyboard (it might be an xbox problem, I hope it isn’t because it’s my only way to enjoy the game);
There is the same problem on the series x with the mouse cursor completely bugged. I also noticed a kind of latency of a few micro seconds between each action with the mouse, it is unplayable competitively.
Mouse sometimes also select units that was close to, but not with the pointer on top of it. Mostly noticeable when trying to task a villager to a specific tree, mouse has problems figuring out which tree you’re selecting.
I thought I was crazy, I have the same problems… I have tried everything, everything, to fix it and it’s impossible. I have sent them several reports to the support team but I have less and less hope. There are for sure a lot of problems in the game but if you can’t move the mouse normally it just end up being a nightmare
it’s incredible how little they worry about people who want to play with keyboaard and mouse. There are a lot of big problem as well in AoE4 (on Xbox with keyboard and mouse). I have tried everything to fix this cursor problem in AoM and I give up. I could play yesterday a match completely normal but it was just a magical exception
