I can not see the games I want to play anymore. The lobby browser already has a bad interface now I have to scroll through these ms rewards afk lobbies. Seriously devs please fix this, ruining the game

somethings u could try if u play a specific map u can type it in search field and it’ll only show the games you usually want to play
like for example against AI i’d type ai into the field and most AI games will come up
or things like 4v4, cba, 3v3, 10x civ bonus etc
if the above dont work for u then just gotta wait till they push out a fix for this
I don’t have specifics I play like 6-7 different setups, I have to use the search bar each time, but why do we have to go through it if devs can simply ban these people or fix the lobby browser?

Can sb. explain to me what rewards do you even get?
I saw many screenshots about this but still have no clue why people are doing this?
Basically, you can earn MS reward points by doing various things such as using Bing as your search engine, doing quizzes on Microsoft’s website or by playing games. Iirc you get 30 points for playing a game in MP and AoE 2 rewards you those by sitting afk in the lobby. You also get 20 points iirc for playing SP which can be also done by just browsing through the skirmish settings.
AoE 1 and 2 are particular popular picks for those reward points as they’re performance-wise easy on your PC, so it isn’t an issue that just popped up with the console release.
You can redeem those points for gift cards or free months for Gamepass.
You can even earn those points as a Steam player when you sign into Xbox Live in DE. Source: I tested it.

I don’t know if it’s going to be fixed.
I have also filed a report, I’ve tried my best to make it as easily understandable and well documented as possible. I hope they will address this situation.

I think lobby browser and spectate browser need have more filters; what console, when started, how many players, and what map. I also want in-game replay folder or a direct way to replay a game from some websites (e.g. aoeinsights, starting a replay only with clicking a url).

A filter of uptime (or sort by uptime) would help a lot (although wouldn’t solve this by itself)

enjoy everybody, i think most people just quit the game instead of complaining on forums. Microsoft is slowly killing the game

Remember to report all the spam every time you visit the lobby browser (takes less than a minute). I do it every single time I see these, but you might reach some of the instances which occur outside of my timezone (as well as complementing the report count for the ones I report which are up for that many hours).
