Multiplayer Crash/Desync/Disconnect with Aztec "Auto Sacrifice"

  • Operating System: Linux (native steam compatibility, no custom Proton)

Issue:

During any multiplayer match, while playing Aztec - using either of the Auto-Sacrifice buttons briefly shows a number over “200” on the button and disconnects/desyncs from the session after a few seconds.

Trigger Event:

Pressing either of the “auto-sacrifice” buttons in Aztec temple in a Multiplayer game (tested as Tezcatlipoca).

Repro Steps:

  1. Join a multiplayer game
  2. Select Tezcatlipoca as Major God
  3. After building the temple press either of the “auto-sacrifice” buttons.
  4. See as the number changes to something ridiculous on the button (224 etc.) briefly
  5. Observe as connection crashes/desyncs within seconds
