Hello guys, for those who don’t remember, I was making a Byzantine campaign, and at last it’s completely ready!
If you don’t want to read the whole text, here is the link of the custom campaign, with 5 missions, all available.

I decided to make a campaign right before the events of Bari campaign take place.
Basically is a prequel to Bari.
It is about the reign of one of the most successful Byzantine/Roman Emperor, Basil the II the Bulgarslayer.
I always wanted to make a historic campaign of the Byzantines, and I was debating between Basil and Heraclius, as both won many battles and fought along with their soldiers, something like warrior-kings.
Emperor Basil had to face the Bulgarian Empire, the Arab Caliphate, the Georgian Kingdom of eastern Anatolia, Civil Wars and more.
The most important aspect though is that Basil was the 1st Emperor to use the Varangian guard. Norsemen warriors that served the Roman Emperors as bodyguards and soldiers at first line of attack. In game you are introduced to the historic moment when Vladimir the Great, the Kievan Rus king, converts to Christianity and sends its Varangians to Basil. I chose the varangian unit to be that of the elite throwing axeman because it looks very close to how a varangian would look like.
And here we are, with 5 missions, you are going to battle with huge armies of the Arab Caliphate, defend Constantinople from usurpers, Travel to eastern Anatolia to face Georgians, Armenians and Seljuks Turks and the show down of Kleidion battle where 15000 captive Bulgarians were brutally blinded. You are going to use all kind of different units, from war elephants and composite bowmen to Genoese crossbowmen
I tried to make it as historically accurate as possible with few exceptions.
As far as I know there are no bugs, and if there are please report them.
Here is a taste of what it looks like, hope you like it!
If this post is not allowed here, I will take it down. But it felt more fitting for discussion at the discussion section lol.
