Nacho (2250 Elo) made smurf accounts to get from 1000 to 2000 Elo with each new civ

Why is this tolerated? It violates the Code of Conduct.

We play fair and respect each other.
Engaging in behaviors to purposefully undermine matches goes against the spirit of the game.

How is that fair to the tens of people who will get stomped for no reason?

why can’t someone make a new acc and make his way up. What’s the problem of loosing one game to a better player?

Because it’s called smurfing, and it’s against the rules.

i think you are wrong on this.
he’s not maintaining his acc on a lower lvl to face weaker opponents.

He is still a 2250elo level skill person, yes? Then him facing people at 1000 elo is unfair.

That’s why this kind of behaviour is banned. Because it’s bullying and can chase people off of the game.

he is not facing, he faced 1000 players the first game or two, and then the ELO system matched him with hiegher and higher ELO players.
that’s how it works… your start at 1000.
i think the game should ask you about your lvl before entering the ranked system

What kind of person buys the game multiple times to smurf with a new account? That’s crazy.

that is not how it works.

The kind that profits from it, like streamers and pros.

There’s also those ranked people who want to try wacky strats without impacting elo.

And people who are just that malicious or bad that they prefer to either account smurf or elo drop smurf.

Yeah, smurfing is bad, pros somehow get a pass on it despite doing it all the time, the game shouldn’t allow multiple accounts per player, especially when we’re talking about public players like pros/streamers/youtubers

When an an alt account is found (via video proof like a stream or YT) it should automatically be given the higher elo

But he is a 2000+ elo playing vs 1000. That will take a lot of games beating up people much worse than him to get back there.
