Get rid of ‘quickwalling’. Players use this as a ‘get out of jail’ free card. A 1% complete wall shouldn’t block units. Making in-progress buildings walkable would encourage melee attacks, especially early on.

For normal building the animation starts with foundation, then slowly gets bigger and biggerto visually indicate the progress.
All building with the initial flat nothing should remain walkable while being build
I imagine that implementing this into the code woukd be difficult
technically not. You can simply make it “have collision” after 25%. It’d make villager suddenly stop building when enemy units on top of it. Already happens with foundations which is not built yet.
