I saw your rec game you did well when you sent those battering rams into his base. One thing I would recommend as other players have done it vs me is maybe going fast IV and sending those Iro canons which are OP and just protecting with toma/riders. if that is too much time Just prowler/goon and something to siege his TC is more than enough. Don’t go for torps that is useless unless he’s lost his base then you destroy those torps.
One would think that destroying torps would be what kills swedes but it really doesn’t Forcing him to fight when you have the better army rather than running around is what is needed. Why you would say? Well see how you were destroying torps and he just went around running where as if you just strike his TC and army buildings he has to idle vills and also has to bring army to fight and if he tries running around just send small troops and keep killing him. Don’t be scared of his army as his doesn’t get any good until IV.
Above I posted a youtube video I had made on a new way to stop swede. I recommend watching you might want to repeat something similar. It does work when you have a civ that can go skirm/goon and some sort of siege. Game 1 & 2. Now if you play civs that can’t replicate that then those civs have very low chances at winning vs swede or require more attention
