New civ tech tree UI is fantastic

There are threads going back to the launch asking for this old school style tech tree, and devs delivered. What an amazing addition (particularly with the advanced stats… finally). aoe4world.com is still GOAT’d but the new Learn screen is great to have in-game.

Thanks devs!

Finally. From day one I asked why did they not just follow the format AoE2 used and instead gave us an awful one.

Now they’ve finally fixed it, and they’ve actually made it even better than the AoE2 one.

It’s great now.

daaaaaa, greaat. It’s better to see and plan the build order, like aoe 2

It’s very nice, it was bit hilarious thou that literally first thing I went to check was Zhu Xi’s legacy granadier (since there was changes) and it had age 4 granadier info in both ages

Yes, I loved that they reworked the tech tree to make it identical to the one in AoE 2…before it felt kind of weird, now it’s easier to read…now you just have civ bonuses, unique units, and then the tech tree…that’s it…

Exactly, now it’s easier to understand and learn the new civilizations, especially if they add civilizations like Vikings and Aztecs as main civs and Novgorod, Seljuks and Songhai as civs variants at the end of the year, which will be very popular…

Now it look like any other tech tree of the AoE franchise, good addition !

One problem : when I change the civilization in the drop down menu the tech tree automatically put him ate left, it will be better if he stay in order to compare two civilization tech tree. For exemple in AoE2 when you change the civilization in the tech tree you will not put at the start of tech tree at the left.

Well, time will tell… what they’ve done is progress, and later they might even be able to customize the Techtree UI…
