yeah its a really slow play, even tried going 10/10 to save the starting wood and it took so long to get the 500
but consulate hussar in age 2 feels so worth it though
also after playing malta a bit more I am kinda impressed at the design of the civ, they really have the theme of like “under siege” very well.
the wignacourt construction card really encourages like sending out sorties for resources while you are defending at home, the commandery thing is like reinforcing parts of your fortress or defenses with units from within and or getting out of a battle area, except the entire map is sort of like your fortress
