New crash : Visual C++ Runtime Library Assertion Failed

Do you guys still have the same?

It’s 7 weeks for me!!! I tried eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeevt

Yep crashed a 1v1 ranked again yesterday. Just CTD this time tho no black screen. yay?
Almost half of my ranked matches ended with me crashing.
Tried every setting and updated everything.

Devs, help.

Happens at (approx) 5 min into each multiplayer games.

Tried updating my video card, reboot, uninstall reinstall, reboot, update my “C++ Redistributable package” (whatever that was…)

There’s no chance I’m gonna modify my router settings when all the other games works well.

Help?

I have the same problem. Alt+Enter lets me get from complete black to the status in the screenshot.

Still not really playable like this… really frustrating.

One thing maybe worth mentioning - I have a similar graphic’s card crash problem in Sea of Thieves. Another Windows game.

Specs:
Intel i7-7700HQ (graphic chip included)
16 GB RAM
GeForce GTX 1050

Curiously enough, I fixed “my” C++ runtime error.

The pop-up “C++ runtime error redistributable (…)” doesn’t appear anymore. I did what this video instructed (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=El1ofTZ4N44).

Yet, this other bug still seem to happen: [TRACKING] 36202: Disconnect within 5 Minutes of joining a Match.

Can’t re-sign into the multiplayer servers once disconnected.

Guess I will have to wait for the May build like the microsoft dev indicated.

Hey there! This issue should have been addressed in the most recent game update! If this is not the case, please let me know so we can explore any new issues that might be causing the issue.

Thanks for all of your reports! I hope to hear good news!

Thanks for your help! It looks like the issue was resolved for me. I will continue testing.

Also, for me the temporary workaround before patch was to forcefully underclock my video card.

For the other problem (of disconnecting after 3-5 min - multiplier game), I used a VPN and it worked fine.

I fixed it. Don’t understand why. All of my other games on Steam were working without one.

oh well.

It’s marginally better after the recent update in that the entire game doesn’t go to a black screen now. Instead it just thrashes black and grey cross weave patterns on and off all over the screen at high intensity. Still unplayable.

Cross-posting because I spent forever figuring this out and this worked for me and my friend.
[FIXED]

I had display adapter drivers 31.x.xxx.xxxx and I installed an earlier version and it works perfectly now. You need to chose a version that is 30.x.xxx.xxxx or older. For some reason the newer drivers don’t work with the game.
