New DLC Suggestion: Between the Worlds. Germanic Tribes

Saxons would be a strong monk civ, check my initial post. Martin Luther…

Saxons even got sieged and killed by Otto, the Teutons King.

A strong siege bonus and monk bonus civ… we dont have one of those as a Getmanic civ currently not at all!!!’

Are we dealing with a good faith human being here? No pun

Good monk saxons are basically the teutons
Bavarians seems like franks with food bonus in dark age

But we already have those civilizations. They’re called the Teutons.

Magyars don’t end in 1200 and they had one of the strongest gunpowder armies in Europe.

the thing is, there is so much exciting history and many wars within the german empire going on, which would give a nice basis für new civs and campaigns.

I don’t want a Teuton split either, but it’s not like the Teutons’ bonuses can’t be moved around if the split does happen. Happened to DoI.

The rest of the world had much exciting history and many wars, too. How many wars did Byzantines, Chinese or Turks had during AoE2 timeline?

Guys, what we currently have is just historically wrong. This is Germany in 1500.
Where do you see the “Teutons”?

The red circles are civs that are already existing.

The green one is the “Teutons”, which is overlapping. Needs to be split up.

This guy is the coyplautus of wanting a German split and talks almost as “ignore what everyone else says and only Im ritht” attitude.

So let’s ignore what looks to be a disingenuous non person until they go away!!!

In case you aren’t a troll, or for people who are reading this and think you are serious.

In English, there’s 2 ways to name what we now know as Germans. Well, Germans, and Teutons, which is medieval for Germans. Teuton comes from Proto Germanic and German comes from Latin

For example, in German, what in English is called

Order of Brothers of the German House of Saint Mary in Jerusalem, or Teutonic Order, for short,

in German is
Orden der Brüder vom Deutschen Haus der Heiligen Maria in Jerusalem or Deutscher Orden, for short

and in Latin,
Ordo domus Sanctae Mariae Theutonicorum Hierosolymitanorum. Here, the Theutonicorum also comes from protoGermanic

TEUTONS IN GAME ARE MEDIEVAL GERMANS

Note: the former are examples of the use of the words TEUTON. I’M NOT SAYING INGAME TEUTONS ARE JUST THE TEUTONIC ORDER.

It’s the entity labeled in German on this map as “Deutscher Orden.”

yes. i dont deny this. Again: Bohemia and Burgund are PART of that entity alled “teutons”, which is why they ARE already split, but not consequently.

Hey Dynastic Planet, thats not the case. I just have the feeling that you sometimes dont have the information background, which is why I think first you would need to do your own background research before a real fruitful discussion is possible. This is not meant personal, but just friendly

I did do my own research and I have come to the conclusion that you are not arguing in good faith!

Guys this is the Maya region in the 8th century, where do you see the Mayans here??
