New forum style doesn't have lists

As of a few days ago, the Age of Empires forums have switched over to using a new dark theme. I quite like it overall, but with the switch there have been some important features left behind.

Notably, both ordered and unordered lists no longer display correctly.

  1. Item 1
  2. Item 2
  3. Item 3
  4. Item 4

The above should display as an ordered (numbered) list. Instead it merely appears as a bunch of text each on one line.

  • Item A
  • Item B
  • Item C
  • Item D

The above should display as an unordered (bullet point) list. Instead, again, it merely appears as a bunch of text each on one line.

This is particularly problematic when, for example, reporting bugs and trying to share a “steps to reproduce”. For example:

Above is a screenshot from a recent post of mine in the AoE4 bug reporting section of the forum. It doesn’t display correctly.

Yeah I think I noticed this a few days ago when making a list.

I suppose you kinda have to do it like this:

(1) Like this
(2) And that
(3) For now

or

(1) Like this
(2) And that  
(3) For now
