The only real possibility if they are peltasts is that the cape remains hidden from that position. It would be somewhat strange since it’s a very voluminous cape, but it’s still possible.
you can see the cape from the front angle it just looks pretty small.
Maybe it’s just because they are all at the same part of the animation cycle where the cape just happens to be the least visible.

Ofc it is xD i don’t understand either personally but at least the forum is being alive like this.
But I personally don’t care if the peltast has its old cape or not and I personally welcome new units too.
