New hotkeys... pretty useless and missing the one we need

The hotkeys on the new patch are pretty much already in the game. ‘Cycle through Monks’… I do that now.

‘Select all economic units on the screen’… yup, pretty sure that was there before too.

The one hotkey that would be good we didn’t get. Yup, no ‘cycle through Points of Interest’.

If I’m wrong let me know.

I haven’t looked too much at hotkeys, but I really don’t like them, especially since I don’t think there is an “AoE2:HD hotkeys” setting. I’ve looked at the hotkeys settings screen before and it was very limited

PS: I try to cycle through idle villagers with the period (.) key and it doesn’t cycle, or at least doesn’t if you accidentally put a couple villagers in a battering ram. (Which is way too easy to accidentally do.) Very annoying. And then it’s painful to figure out how to eject them so you can move on with your life and find more idle villagers.

I’ve spent a fair bit of time setting up my own hotkeys and they are indispensable for playing this game.

imo the select xy on screen hotkeys are fantastic! never been happier. if they could also:

  • fix the select idle vils in radius hotkey (has been bugged forever)
  • add hotkey to select ALL religious units
  • add hotkey to cycle through individual units from your current selection (option for that has been in the game since pre-release, but no keybind ever existed for it)
  • add modifier key to drag select only eco / military units!

then hotkeys would be in a pretty good spot.
