New Redcoat skins

Thanks for your hard work devs
Redcoat’s new unique guard skin is great but could you please implement this skin for redcoats in imperial age ?
Im sure its not really hard for you to make it
It will be sooo great & historical accurate :slightly_smiling_face:

Like american regular and mexican soldado which receive new outfits in imperial age, redcoat needs to receive napoleonic outfit in age V

Absolutely - tricorne’d Redcoats the industrial age are very out of place!

A dilemma that already exists in the game’s cinematics. Shako or tricorn? Why not both? xD

I really like the redcoat skin with tricorn. But I also like the shako, especially if it’s to better respect the late period of the last ages. Especially since next to it there are the Germans with Pickelhaubes and the French with voltigeurs and the Napoleonic guard.

Like american regular and mexican soldado which receive new outfits in imperial age, redcoat needs to receive napoleonic outfit in age V

And Caroleans (who keep tricorns in age III and IV but gain top-hats in age V).

An homecity card could also change the skin, like the new canadian card which gives the guard regular skin to musketeers.

I like both hats though I’d just like them in the right ages - Fortress Tricorns and Industrial/Imperial Shakos

Well done mate we can see both tricorn & shako redcoats in the game’s cinematics
A little bit more work & love from the devs & redcoats will be 100% OK

I’d also say Imperial Redcoats could possibly have Pith Helmets too, though actually many Euro muskets could, especially as Imperial age represents the imperial scramble Euros took part in overseas.

Still though I could be absolutely happy without the piths as long as Shakos were part of the Industrial Redcoat look as it was used for a long time.

Seems to be a common solution XD

For my part, I would be delighted if 2 skins could be added to the Redcoats, however, I also consider that priority should be given to the “principium aequitatis” (principle of equity), for which 2 skins would have to be given to the rest of the units imperial type to the rest of civilizations.

Adding a single skin to a specific unit of a specific civilization is a relatively “simple” job, but crafting another skin pack for other civilizations can be a complex job. Perhaps this goal can be achieved in the near future

Edit:
Is it possible to apply something similar to the rest of the units with a unique skin?

That would be fantastic!
