I disagree, it is at least unique, and maybe people will not complain about “useless UTs” in the future.
How does the charge attack work in aoe3?
There is no charge attack in AoE3 so we can’t speculate based on this either.

Faulty logic. By the same logic hussar in aoe 2 is produced for free, because you always have farms, so it doesn’t cost you anything. Exp does not tick at a specific rate, it is determined by your action. You can build trade posts to gain much more exp than your opponent. So you can base your strategy around gathering this resource to use bonuses that can only be realistically afforded by the use if this resource.
