Is it just me, or has the Town Bell function been removed from AoEIV? At least I can’t find it. I don’t seem to have any way of getting my villagers to automatically flee to safety once the enemy launches a raid. Instead, I have to move them out of harm’s way manually. That’s a major pain for me, so why did they remove it?

There’s seek shelter. It’s a localized or limited version of town bell.

I haven’t been able to find that command.
The command is on the villagers themselves. I believe it is G by default.
So if you select any number of villagers and push that button or use the hotkey then they will all seek shelter in the nearest garrisonable building.
This is actually much better than the town bell (which really one should never use in AoE2).
Buildings have a command to return them to work, and a command to return all villagers in every building to work.
