WE without fail makes it needlessly difficult to maintain positivity towards the game. I tried recently but now my pitchfork is out again.
What makes 3DE so difficult to properly market and provide the basics? How on earth do you screw up a DLC reveal that bad? Why are they so uncomfortable doing just about anyything related to 3DE and 3DE alone?
Their Incompetence and negligence is a choice and I want to know why.

At least we have the chance to get the Aztec queen next month, that was missed the first time. I I hope after that the dlc comes with new unlockables. It’s November by then so late 2024 fits

I was just about post the same thing. Ok, I get it: not every player had already unlocked the bear explorer. However, what’s the point of offering the same stuff from one year ago if the majority of the player base already have it.
Perhaps it was foolish of me to expect some secret unlockable skins, but if the point of this month was to no leave behind on perks to players who, for a reason or another, couldn’t make it the last time; why don’t offer alternative rewards to playerss that already had the bear skin? Maybe earn four tokens to change for past events’ avatars, or make a system for you to choose which skin to unlock. IDK.
You didn’t had to roll a full expansion pack, just a little care for your product.
But at this point, Valve is doing more for TF2 than Microsoft for this game.
Indeed. I actually got in a fight both in school and at work just to watch that stupid stream. Arrived already late. Watch through a boring long hours about a competitive game I care a flying f*** about…and in the end, they only aknowledge the DLC existed, and tryied to sell hype for a thing everybody already knew about it. Another two euro civs. I honestly feeled more hyped to the euro natives than for the two sentences they muttered of AoE3.
They even feel like unconfortable to talk about this game, WTF.

If anyone from the company or the development team has shame, come out and say a word.
This is becoming intolerable. I can’t imagine how you could sleep at night with an unfinished simple work that you have 12 months to do. I’ve seen bad game managements a lot. None of them is worse than you.

10 months ago when I criticized their slow reaction to a simple bug (8 crossbows. I can fix it in 5 minutes. And it was a time when the game just got an f2p. Imagine the influx of new players getting screwed when sending one of the most basic cards that several civs will use) and some people thought I was overreacting.
So this is our situation now.

They have been working on Age of Mythology Retold and the new DLC for AoE III DE so I am not surprised we haven’t been getting anything new so far and are recycling community event challenges.
I think I’ve made it quite clear that I’m not even asking for anything substantial…
There was an Aztec skin that failed. Just add that to the back of the queue. So simple. Minimal additional work.
I don’t think they are all so occupied that nobody can come and do that.

When FREELO exists for a select few civs and basic glitches are still rife, it’s hard not to write something on an almost DAILY basis.
I think he’s actually showing a lot of restraint here, at this point MORE noise actually needs to be made, not less. That’s the situation we’re in right now.
