None of the "3 kingdoms" campaigns actually take place during the 3 kingdoms period

I agree, it’s really the worst.

Just recently published the campaign, you can try it if you like, a restart of the game after installing the mod is highly recommended though

Will try it. Good thing it doesn’t use the Wei, otherwise I’d be unable to play xd

Ain’t no wei i’m buying that DLC XD. Everything in the DLC from the campaigns, civ designs and smaller things like the civ jingles just look so passionless.

yeah, bad DLCs both for single player and multiplayer

Yeah, that’s because they don’t..
The outcome of battle of the Red Cliffs is a decisive turning point that led directly to the formation of the Three Kingdoms.

Here’s an idea dev: how about moving 3K to its own mode (Romance “Chronicles”) and in the future you can sell more DLCs by continuing the story. Make more money from Sino-sphere customers that you apparently cashed in greatly this time.

Edit: just realized this is an old post

What are we, some kind of Three Kingdoms?

Yes, it’s theoretically false that it’s a DLC about the Three Kingdoms, but rather about the fall of the Han Dynasty…

Yes, it should have been a 21-mission campaign like BfG and spanning from 184 to 280 AD (then it would be a real 3K DLC)…
