So I decided to revisit the story mode of AoE III and ran into some trouble. The Commerce Age Card “8 Crossbowmen” from the “Knights of Saint John” civ of the ACT I of the Blood, Ice and Steel campaign fails to send any Crossbowmen. This card does nothing on any of the scenarios in which it can be sent.

Here’s the steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. Go to Story Mode and load a scenario from which you can receive shipments in the first Act of the Blood, Ice and Steel campaign.
  2. Reach Commerce Age and try to ship the “8 Crossbowmen”.
  3. The shipment arrives with nothing.

You receive 8 Crossbowmen.

Yes it was fixed for the normal skirmish / MP , but they forgot the campaign civs…
