You know how people here hate others getting more options that do not interfere with themselves (like zoom)…”You don’t know how to appreciate the game! They have offered you the best way to enjoy it already! Are you not entertained?”
That dark purple is nice. Once my teammate who was playing pink, I mistakenly dropped off my sheep at their TC. They said “thx” in chat and we had a laugh because it was by accident.
In my opinion pink and purple team colors are too close. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve tried selecting the wrong units playing as purple or pink.
Perhaps we can get custom unit/structure banners to assist in identification.
I’d still like custom banners for keeps and gatehouses.
My go-to colors were usually the light grey or teal, but sometimes would change it up for specific civs.
Unfortunately, light grey seems to be occupied for neutral already, hope it’s still usable by players.
Probablemente puedas usar gris con mods en el futuro.
When it’s possible I usually mess with various shades of cyan, azure, and claret, but from time to time I love to use some (off)whites and greys. They do look super classy and neat. I’m sure on medieval units, with a lot of colored fabric in their uniforms, shiny plate armor etc. it will look equally cool.
But yeah depending on a game it can get super messy on a minimap, so in complex titles (a lot of different map markers it’s safer to do that in solo modes heh.
I’ll probably pick orange, purple, or green, when color picking is added. Orange as a civ color feels like a charming relaxed medieval town (i also associate it with the uh medieval economics anime Spice & Wolf, which also has a really nice soundtrack that I should totally listen to while playing). Green feels foresty and earthy and nice. And purple is very royal and cool/majestic.
Color picking isn’t being added until the “Season 2” update though, right? That’s, like, Summer.
