I just watched an interesting Youtube Video about aoe2: How AGE OF EMPIRES Conquered the World...Again - YouTube
and found some interesting information regarding monk and monastery variations in there. I took a screenshot to share it with you guys:
I think those skins should be implemented in the game (not only the editor)
yes I also seen that video, they said they wanted to do more ambitious stuff, like reskinning all the units for each civilization… but then they would have to handle the readability of these units … so they simply didn’t carryon with this concepts
I hope now that they have time and money they just restart the projects and implement them
Also as the game has been already 4 years old, they should just release these early confidential documents and concept arts for the public
We can only hope that some day we will have it in the game
