:arrow_forward: ISSUE EXPERIENCED

 DESCRIBE THE ISSUE IN DETAIL (below). LIMIT TO ONE BUG PER THREAD.

All of the technology/unit upgrades and Age advancements in campaign games saved in the previous patch show ‘Free’ as their cost now.
Moreover, if you actually click the research, it will still deduct a proper amount of resources (and you indeed won’t be able to do that if you lack the sufficient resources), but if you cancel it before the upgrade is done, the resources won’t be refunded at all (since it was supposedly done for ‘free’).

This issue is absent on new games made in the latest patch.

:arrow_forward: REPRODUCTION STEPS

 List CLEAR and DETAILED STEPS we can take to reproduce the issue ourselves… Be descriptive!

Here’s the steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. Load any campaign save made prior the update 58259.
  2. Observe that all the upgrades and age-ups show ‘Free’ as their cost now, both in building menus, and in the civilization Technology Tree.
  3. Try researching something, observe how it still deducts resources from the player, and how canceling the ‘free’ research in progress won’t refund any resources at all.

 What was SUPPOSED to happen if the bug you encountered were not present?

Techs/age-ups available in older saves should still show the correct amount of resources needed. Resources should be refunded properly if the tech/age-up is canceled on older saves.
