Onagers and mamelukes, both units are overpowered

Maybe Centurion or Elite Leitis

If with micro then Ballista Elephant would be a good choice to counter Mamelukes

Elite Hussite Wagon will be a good choice too

If you ignore is again im report you as troll.

To repeat and you better have a good answer: WHY DID YOU LET THEM MAKE SO MANY GOLD HEAVY UNITS UNDISTURBED!?

Onager is fine IMO. It wonā€™t be able to kill anything other than building if you remove attack ground.

Mameluks are overpower in low elo games where people donā€™t know the timing. In this case, War elephant and ballista elephant are overpowered too.

60 camel archers can fight. or just spam trash units.

I believe he has a misconception of counter. By his idea, halbs is not a counter of cavalier. I think monks arenā€™t that bad against mameluke.

Just make Turtle ships or war Elephants

Depends on if you can micro or not. This is pretty important for mamelukes because they have an extremely short range of 4. I wouldnā€™t go against halbs in the late game with mamelukes unless Iā€™m sure I can babysit them because if you canā€™t, the halbs will eat your mamelukes.

where is ur video proof?

Anyone that wants to prove me wrong shall upload a video where it can clearly be seen how a generic unit beats mamelukes

You need onagers to counter archer masses and other masses of unit that are too strong in groups.

I think youā€™re missing the point. If you only make a ton of elite skirm and halberdiers and send them to their death vs Mamelukes, that could still be a good trade because you are trading trash units for expensive gold units. The Saracen player is on a timer and cannot replace his army when the gold runs out. Same argument applies for mass Hussar vs. Onager. 80 farms Hussar spam and thereā€™s no way the Onager player can handle that level of micro without losing all his siege or friendly fire killing his own Onagers. And again, the Onager player canā€™t replace his army when the gold runs out.

Post it then. Letā€™s see it.

In castle age, you have enough gold to spam them, castles are the limiting factor. In imperial, pop space is just as much of an issue. Even if the trade is fine, you lose map control and momentum.

Also, skirmishers have no bonus damage against mamelukes. For some reason, they are not counted as cavalry archers. For this reason, mamelukes will eat skirms.

Iā€™ve asked for your video proof theyā€™re uncounterable already and you havenā€™t posted a video yet.

Mamelukes have 3 range (typo I imagine). Also regarding the micro, if you think about it itā€™s similar to arbs vs champions. Arbalesters counter champions (no one disagrees here) but if you donā€™t micro your arbs the champions win.

Yes, but the micro window is far too tight with mamelukes. Arbs have a huge range. So, you can easily attack enemies from behind, say, halbs. You can have a good meatshield, or sit in the range of a casttle. Mamelukes canā€™t do that. That makes them far more difficult to use. You need to babysit them a lot more.

For sure, I just donā€™t think itā€™s fair to say either mamelukes or halbs win by default. Iā€™ve seen games where the babysitting is more than possible (black forest likely). Iā€™ve also definitely seen games where the mamelukes get overwhelmed.

mamelukes are some of the strongest counters against skirms, skirmishers are meant to die hard to mamelukes
