I don’t want to talk about buffing the OOTD, even if it’s a mediocre unit or buff, but as long as it’s something fun and unique, because right now it seems like a pretty flat variant and doesn’t seem to have anything special in the roster. HRE has a new unit and a more interesting tech, but the OOTD seems destined to be boring, with the only feature being larger units that, beyond the stats, don’t even feel that elite. Anything, like a unit that consumes 4 slots and is an elite among elites, or a special priest, or some mechanic that better recalls the knightly hierarchy or types of knightly orders. Again, the point is not to release something that breaks the game, it would be fine to put something underpowered just to improve the OOTD design and only then buff it and make it fit the size of the meta.
Its unique as it gets compared to other civs/variants becouse all the units are way more cool looking in my opinion.
To make it fit the meta just give vils a very tiny boost to their movement speed, they are so difficult to keep alive and losing just a couple early on is the game.
I’m not talking about the meta, but that they play flat. The level of players is so different that those who know how to play also play with OOTD. and at the low level there are mistakes made by players that are much more significant than the pure mathematics behind the economics

Excuse me? What should I explain? You talk about stat buffs and nerfs, based on numerical reasoning, while I was talking about something that sounds flat on a design level, despite having specified several times that I was not talking about balance. And then it seems strange to talk about the mathematics behind the economy, which is one of the reasons why a civilization works or not in a meta which is exactly how you want to approach the topic?
