Ottoman balance suggestion

I’d say ottoman mostly want to reach castle age asap, staying in feudal where they are weakest isn’t usually a good idea. If you want to stay and fight in feudal then sure the food landmark is better otherwise I want the gold.

then is it better to have the better version of sultahani trade in castle for FC strat? my suggestion is the landmark to be moved to castle and with the landmark spawn more traders inside it could really fit fast castle style.

No because you need the gold in order to FC, and civs delaying gold gathering is the most common way they counter it. With trade landmark not only is it giving you gold but if you want to age up a bit faster you can trade some food for gold.

the most common way to way to counter fast castle is not delaying gold but pushing the gold, you can’t push towered gold without ram and you can gather enough gold to fast castle before they push. the problem is after castling and your gold gets pushed its useless because you can’t gather gold, however if you have landmark that produce passive gold and if its good enough you can actually still makes premium units, that might be the case if the sultahani trade moved to the castle.

Hi everyone ! As an Otto main i would like to state my ideas to fix their issues. So lets list them.

Field Work —> Also reduces all mosque upgrade and imam costs by %15

Military Schools —> Although they are incredibly cool in their design they need some adjustments for their cost. 1st military school costs 125w 25s , 2nd costs 150w 50s , 3rd costs 150w 75s 4th costs 175w 100s , 5th costs 200w 125s ( this change will help balancing weak feudal problem )

Cavarly Arhers —> These units should be available in feudal age from arcery range with their original cost.

Timariots —> All cavarly units are created %10 faster and moves %10 faster.

Great Bombards —> +90 attack bonus against Elephant units ( bug fix )

+1 free bombard vizier —> Vizier point is replaced with new one ‘‘Sultans Army’’ providing 3 jannisaries and 1 mangonel for age2 , 4 Jannisaries and 1 bombard for age 3 , 8 jannissaries alongside with 2 bombards for age 4

Jannissary Guns upgrade —> now provides +8 attack but costs 150f 100g more.
