After such a long time without DLCs, I’m counting on:

• The imminent release of the Baltic DLC - released during the show?
• An announcement of the MENA DLC that will be released in a few months.

It may also be the other way round XDDD

Malay is a fairly big umbrella as there were plenty of regionally powerful Sultanates.

Aceh Sultanate was pretty long lasting and fought against the Ports and later the Dutch. It was only in the very late 19th century and finally early int he 20th century did the Dutch annex it.

The other big Malay big player is the Johor Sultanate which was also AOE3 timeframe spanning and were fierce rivals to Aceh. Johor was established when the Sultan of Malacca had to flee the Ports.

Along with Portuguese Malacca, all three powers tried to control the trade route of the Strait of Malacca.

A Malay civ with an underlying focus on either Aceh or Johor would be greate however I’d not try to represent both as they were big rivals who fought each other.

Malacca could also be considered as part of the Malay civ since we already have british india and portugese goa as a part of the indian civ.

Of course, the most likely thing is that they will unite both sultanates plus Malaysia in a single civ and you will have cards and allies in the consulate such as Ottomans, Portuguese, Dutch and British…

3. Fortresses Age (Rule of Nader Shah) (1736-1747)

4. Industrial Age (Afsharid Government) (1736-1796)

5. Imperial Age (Qajar Government) (1789-1925)

Yes, but they will probably save it for later, like at the end of the year or next year at the beginning of this year…
