Petition for the "ceasefire" not to interfere with the duration of another god power

It is unfair that a god power that costs little favor like ceasefire is able to interfere and ruin the duration of other god powers that cost a lot of favor.
When ceasefire is used, The duration of the other god powers should be paused and resumed when the ceasefire ends. Ceasefire should not be able to interfere with the duration of a god power because that is unfair to any player.

I think it’s a okay/good mechanic I would just either adjust the duration and make it even slightly shorter (which would let it feel less impactful for the player who is using it I guess…) to give more costly god powers who run relative long a bit more room to play with - OR to expand the duration of ceasefire (again) but rise up their favour cost drastically. (to make it being used less often)

I think the most problematic and unfun godpowers in the game are:

  • fimbul winter IN MULITPLAYER GAMES (but, thankfully, it got nerfed a bit now cause devs really take feedback seriously)
  • vortex in general (which feels weak on paper even more than fimbul winter I agree but it’s a rather annoying godpower with too easy navigation on the map and somehow feels worse than shifting sands)

I think at best these two godpowers need a maybe even rather drastic overhaul. Fimbul winter though seems very hard to program but maybe vortex is easier? (And especially easier to replace, cause I think Helios should have a godpower like summoning a tiny sun which either travels a direction doing dmg along the path OR summing a tiny sun in a location which does constant aoe burning dmg in that area)

That is a really cool idea.

It still makes it strategically useful to cast but not completely negates later age god powers.

Not sure how it would work for some of the god powers though since it could kinda buff them. Like increase the life of Gullinbursti and therefor allow it to walk into the enemy base without using up it’s limited life.

In team games it could potentially be used offensively.
