Thanks a lot! As I mentioned it has been a team work and we combined the best Australian assets. Even though there are some pretty unique features like volcano islands or completely new native buildings and units. Weâre intensively working on polishing everything and weâll keep you posted about the progress.

Australia & Oceania update for Age of Pirates is here: Mods Single - Age of Empires - World's Edge Studio If you missed Australia and Oceania regions in the Age of Empires, now you can play them. Both regions also have unique natives, fauna, treasures, mercenaries, outlaws, and map events like volcano eruptions. There are also many other mod improvements.
This should be official in-game content!
We found a bug on the Australia map, but the hotfix has been released immediately. Thanks to the community for instant feedback. More new stuff is coming in Autumn 2024 Weâll get back to the roots and introduce the Real Piracy update.

Some bugs can appear, but we donât have a team of professional developers and testers like Microsoft (even though we managed to find and fix many vanilla game bugs). Our whole team works voluntarily. Even though any bug reports are always welcome. But a report like this is completely useless for us and with no details canât help us at all. Some more bug details would be valuable, but when you post a public mod review, itâs just impossible to ask for details because the review system doesnât allow to find a concrete user. So please use the forum or the Discord instead.

Mississippi River and Green Valley have been tested multiple times and no train bugs were found. Even though itâs possible that something can appear due to local issues like Windows 11 compatibility or too low / too high device performance. If anyone finds anything, please report it. Weâre doing our best to fix all issues so any feedback posted in the proper place is always welcome.

Your work sounds very similar to this scenario idea I proposed long back. I am glad to see someone like minded who can actually create it. Give this thread a read. You might like it.
Your work is very impressive. Even though i no longer play the game. I am tempted to start again after seeing your mod. I have subscribed your mod page to keep up with the development.
I would love to see outlaw dens and pirate coves as aggressive neutrals/natives. That spawn units that attack trains, fishing boats/ navy boats, railway stations, ports and docks and steal trade route income until they are paid off through transferring resources continuously (through feed resources overtime button in diplomacy menu). They will show up as allies once trading posts are built and you can tribute them. This option is lost once trading posts are destroyed. It will also be nice if native villages/outlaw dens and pirate coves can spawn batches of warriors that directly attack the enemy players like ronin camp in seige of osaka mission in japanese campaign provided they are allied with you.
Also scenarios with base defence/town survival mode will be great too. I would love to get in touch and exchange ideas with you guys.

Hi, actually as Assertive said, some of your ideas are already implemented in the mod. Some of them could be technically really complicated because the game just does not support every idea, but I hope youâre gonna like it.
Even though our pirates are standard natives, there is still a lot of completely new and original stuff like the politician concept or new flagships.
Weâre currently also preparing a large pirate native rework, so we plan to implement more new captains, flagships, and way more pirate-related stuff.
@BaltazarGreat @AssertiveWall20 I just watched some videos of your mods in youtube. Your mod is definitely brimming with creativity. And you guys have already implemented much of what I wanted and also the stuff that was in my mind but i didnât mention in that post. Like horse riding villagers- farmhands. Keep up the great work . I love your frontier towns. You have made a really comprehensive mod.
Sounds like you were watching someone who was also playing Age of the World, a huge mod that you can mostly play with Age of Pirates as long as you have a separate compatibility pack that fixes some of the big issues (mainly the AI compiling error).
Experimentally but yes, itâs âtechnicallyâ possible, even though itâs not as stable as the standalone mod.
I have an idea for a new map. A very hostile Swamp. Where hostile Crocodiles/Alligators wander the map as well as parts of the map constantly spawn poisonous fog. As well as other parts of the map may slow down the movement and attack speed of units.
I am not sure what type of natives would inhabit such landsâŠMaybe those who are very good at using poison to hunt as well as Forest/Swamp survival crafts.
Nice idea, currently weâre more focused on realistic maps, but it doesnât mean something like that could not appear in the future, but we definitely plan to implement more map events like volcano eruption.

Hi! I downloaded the mod from AOE3 DE. I can play the maps but other than that, nothing has changed. For example, I canât play with new civs? Am I doing something wrong? Thanks in advance!
