Players leaving early in team games

I’m here to comment on a problem that many have surely had, and I don’t know why it has so little impact.

Players who leave team games between the first second of the match and the 5th or maybe 6th minute. The problem is that, at low elos, TGs are a disaster. As an experienced player, it’s quite difficult to increase TG ELO because, every day, I find myself in 3 or 4 games where someone leaves for no reason, lowering everyone’s ELO. And this only happens at low elos, and it’s really hard to get out of there and have decent-level TG games (I call decent games simply where players know a build order and try to play as a team at least a little).

I don’t understand why there aren’t simple measures such as just reducing the elo of the player who leaves in those minutes (maybe setting it between 0 and 20 minutes) and, if you want, reducing the elo the opposing team earns for a game where they didn’t do anything.

But early quitters have 50% chance to be in your team, 50% in the opponent’s team.
So at the end, sometimes you earn Elo, sometimes you lose.

I confirm that it is very annoying but it doesn’t change much about the Elo. It’s more annoying for the penalties for the next game if you early quit also after someone quitted.
