I would appreciate a way to see a changelog history inside the game.
Just seems intuitive that you inform the players that play your game inside the game, and not somewhere else. And I think such a feature would not be intrusive to the UI at all. Just make a small button in the top right corner or something.
Thank you.

Am i really the only one that cares about this?
No, you’re not. Any gamer who plays a game competitively cares when a new patch for their favorite game drops. We need to know what specifically they changed. What bugs did they fix? What balance changes did they make? We will have to rethink all of our strategies for playing the game to accommodate those changes. We want to know and the details do matter, so if a patch drops with a bunch of unannounced changes, that too, is a real annoyance.
I’m typically willing to let the “in-game” part of that request slide so long as they do post the notes somewhere, but yes, ideally, they’d have an interface to display the change log in the game’s interface itself.

To add to this. Where do i find the patch notes that happened after the large patch? the smaller updates that came out prior to the tournament? I do not see them on the steam page?
They don’t typically post them on Steam very prominently. The official source is here at ageofempires.com. Go to News → Release Notes and the major patch notes for all of the age games are posted there.
So confusing. This page does not contain the latest update.
and what is the latest update? because on Steam there was no patch other than the big one from couple days ago
No idea. I find it pretty hard to follow honestly.
