i think there should be a simpler tool to edit iu for user convenience, just doble click >> want edit iu >> yes >> yousure? >> yes >> i edit catapult crush damage info when hovering the mouse over there and the iu displays takes 10 shoots to destroy a castle, so i can remember it just by reading.
I think a feature for editing iu without external programs inside the game would solve any problem with the iu.
and yes toggling between dps and the other would be good too.
I think there should be some kind of mod for those who want it, but I don’t see the need to see DPS and sit with a calculator. All you need to know is that a unit with multiplier damage defeats units with bonus damage. People start doing calculations when they’re considering whether to fight spearmen against hoplites. And it becomes clear after just one playthrough. I don’t even look at this menu when I’m playing. All I need to know is how many upgrades the enemy has in their arsenal.
In my opinion, damage per hit is more important because it shows how much damage will be dealt in a single hit by a catapult or archers during a shoot ‘n’ scoot.
