Please let all civs have culverines.
Since there are certain siege weapons like great bombards, civs without culverines are pretty much hopeless in lategame often times.
There is absolutely no counter to that other than culvs.

I dont agree with that, each civ have their own advantage, different units.
The strongest civ in tier list aren’t the ones with Culverin right now. They are things like rus, china…

Culverin are strong but it doesn’t mean that it is auto win, they still have many counters depending on the rest of the army composition, and depending on your own civ. They are also supper expensive, and you can still destroy them with springald, cavalry, mass MAA. Especially the Mongol Springald that have 13 range.

Some civ would just be too OP with culverins (Rus and China, and maybe Ottoman if they had jani + bombard + culverin)

I don’t agree with this as well, I don’t want the game to become more symmetric between the different civs.

Imperial Age Springalds can still counter other siege (lest Culverins) cost-effectively. Civs without Culverins have a disadvantage but are far from hopeless.

Well, some civs, 3, that do not have culverina have Ribauldequin, I don’t think these deserve a substitute since they have a bonus in compensation.

On the other hand, for civs that lack Culverinas or Ribauldequin, 4, ideally they would have some bonus or something for their Springalds or their bombard cannons. At the moment this is true for:

  • Chine: ClockTower creates springalds and bombards with 50% more HP
  • Rus: One of its Landmarks improves the range of springalds and Bombard attacks
  • Mongols: Their dual technology mechanics make their base siege weapons stronger.

But no for:

  • Delhi Sultanate: NONE, Zero, nothing. Also, their light cavalry don’t have bonus aggainst siege weapons.

So far, the only civ that does not have ribauldequin or culverin and has a defect in anti-siege measures is the Delhi Sultanate, since they do not have an upgrade for springald, and on top of that the Ghazi Raider lacks an anti-siege bonus (Possible Bug?). The only thing I would ask is that some anti-siege bonus be given to this unit (Ghazi Rider).

Another thing is that the bonuses already corresponding to the springald in these 4 civs are better balanced.
