Yes, that is a very good idea for ‘woots steel‘ which by itself should fix dravidians aweful castle age. Urumi should not benefit from it though. They don’t have any role in Dravidians gameplay though. You can always use swordsmen for any Urumi role and they are far cheaper as well.
Just a prognosis from me, but maybe I’m wrong with this thought, But if they touch dravidians it needs to be a complete overhaul, the civ is just a pain to play or play against.
Yes true. Dravidians are a pain and devs are never going to fix the civ since it is part of base game now. I think the idea of reworking of 5 civs and getting out 5 new ones which closely resemble them geographically in a different period is a great idea to address the civ’s weakness. We have Romans and Byzantines already anyway as a precedence. The “Successors and Forebears” DLC could be similar to Age of Empires II: Forgotten Empires with 5 new civs which don’t come from the same region. I don’t necessarily agree with @GentleEvening5 civ choices. But its a good idea to address all the longtime rework demands in a single DLC. I think the rework template of Dravidians from that thread could go a long way in fixing the civ.
